Sam Stamper and Zadie McElhaney are the owners and operators of Checotah Livestock Market. Sam was born and raised in Beggs, Oklahoma, where he helped his parents on a small cow-calf operation. Sam attended Oklahoma State University and competed on the rodeo team. He graduated with a degree in Agribusiness and shortly after attended auction school at World Wide College of Auctioneering. Zadie is from Hitchita, Oklahoma. She also attended OSU and obtained her degree in Agricultural Communications. She is a 3rd grade teacher at Warner Elementary School. Sam and Zadie run about 250 head of yearlings and cow-calf pairs and when they aren't operating the barn you can find them in the roping pen or fishing.
CLM was established in 2019 and resides in Checotah, Oklahoma.
